Era un servizio sulla situazione sociale in America il giorno dopo l'assassinio di Martin Luther King.
Intervistavano il governatore della Georgia, un illuminato che decise comunque di far svolgere il concerto previsto di James Brown. Gratuito. Un milione di persone, nessun incidente.
La gente gridava "He's black, he's black !"
La musica aveva fermato la violenza.
Era il padre di Prince, e di molti altri.
Il re, quindi.

Chissà perchè per me il Natale non ha alcun significato collettivo, o meglio l'unico significato evidente è il grande fervore ipocrita da cui tutti sembrano lasciarsi pervadere.
Lascio fermo (e intatto) il suo significato religioso, ma non posso fare a meno di pensare che milioni di individui aspettano questa ricorrenza con la stessa bramosia con la quale gli avvoltoi aspettano le loro inconsapevoli prede: questo periodo di festività è la vera fulgida apoteosi del consumismo e dei finti cerimoniali.
E se ne rovesciassimo la logica ?
E facessimo finta che questo non è un giorno speciale ?
